Hello Rikki & Mal!

Thank you for considering me to work with you and your clients on their wedding day. I am eager to learn more about their wedding plans. I love photographing weddings at The Jonathan Club and am so excited to have been recently added to their preferred vendor list.

Wedding days can be quite hectic, but I make it my top priority to provide a sense of calm and support for my clients. My goal is for couples to relax, forget the camera, and focus on their connection. My style is classic, fun, emotionally rich, and candid.

My genuine care for my couple’s experience sets me apart from other photographers. To me, being a great wedding photographer goes beyond just capturing beautiful images; it means becoming a trusted friend, working diligently, putting people at ease, and ensuring their day runs as smoothly as possible.

Our team is committed to providing an exceptional experience on your wedding day, ensuring that every moment is captured with care and precision.

Led by Jenna, who has photographed over 850 weddings, our team brings a wealth of expertise and passion to your celebration. Our second photographers have worked alongside Jenna for at least three years—many for nearly a decade—bringing their unique skills and creative vision to every wedding they photograph. As lead photographers in their own businesses, they offer a high level of knowledge and artistry, complementing Jenna’s approach and ensuring a comprehensive, dynamic collection of images.

Behind the scenes, our dedicated photo assistants are the unsung heroes who ensure your day runs smoothly. From helping with your wedding dress to making sure every detail—your hair, jewelry, and attire—remains flawless, they’re there to provide support at every turn. Whether it’s fetching a refreshing drink, retrieving your bouquet or lipstick from the bridal suite, or simply offering a helping hand when needed, they take care of the little things so you can focus on enjoying your day. They also assist with gear and lighting, allowing our photographers to stay fully engaged in creating beautiful, authentic images that reflect the essence of your celebration.

FAQs

What do you consider local? Are there any additional travel costs?

For weddings and engagement sessions in California, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties are considered local. For weddings and engagement sessions in Kansas City, the following counties are considered local: Jackson, Johnson, Platte, Wyandotte, Clay, Leavenworth, Miami, and Cass. Non-local options are available but would require travel fees such as flights, rental cars, gas, or hotel stays, depending on the location.

How do I secure a date with you?

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due 14 business days before the wedding day.

Is there a contract? How do I make payments?

Your wedding photography service agreement is online and easy to complete with digital signatures. I prefer payment through Venmo, Zelle or Apple Pay, but you may also pay by credit, debit, electronic check, or personal check.

How soon will I see the photos from my wedding?

Your wedding images will be delivered through an online gallery approximately six weeks after the wedding day. The week after the wedding you will receive between 100-200 preview photos.

I’m having a large wedding. How much is an additional photographer?

Additional photographers are $1200.

What is your approach to photographing portraits and people?

Our approach is relaxed yet intentional, guiding clients with just the right amount of direction to spark genuine moments and interactions. This allows couples to enjoy their day without the pressure of posing. Known for her attention to detail and timeless true-to-color style, Jenna’s work highlights the beauty and emotion of each moment, creating photos that feel effortless, real, and truly reflective of the unique personalities she captures.
